You are receiving this email because you have RSVP’d for the Women’s-Only Intro to Handguns on May 14, 2025 from 6-8 PM.  

I AM SO EXCITED at the interest in this event and I cannot wait to share this experience with you! There are 30 of you, so I will want us to stay as organized and on time as possible. If you could all try to be there by 5:45, it would be greatly appreciated. Please be prepared to stay a little later than 8:00pm if necessary.

Dani Hoffman from SoDak Sports will be helping us and is a major sponsor for the event. There is a $30 donation fee that we will collect at the door, $15 going to Davison County Shooting Club and $15 going to Big Friend Little Friend. After we are done shooting, we will have pizza and refreshments for everyone to enjoy!

We are providing guns, ammo and protective eye/ear wear, however you are welcome to bring your own. Ammo will be provided for only 9MM and .22 LR. If you are bringing your own handgun and it is not one of these two kinds, you will need to bring your own ammo. You will want to wear comfortable shoes and clothes that cover your body. Shell casings are hot and can sometimes fly back onto your body. 

The Davison County Shooting Sports In-Door Range is located at 3260 W. Havens Ave. in Mitchell, just west of the Davison County 4-H building. My cell phone number is 605-770-6259 and will have it on me that evening in case anyone has trouble finding it. 

I'm looking forward to a fun-filled, safe evening of learning about gun safety, gun defense and learning how to shoot. Please do not hesitate to call or email with any questions you may have.
